Kodie Harmer was impressive on her cruiser taking the win and also back it up with a fifth place in championship women. After a nasty crash in practice, Ned Penny took the win in 17 to 29 cruiser a gutsy performance someone did say that’s the fastest that cruiser has ever been! He also had a solid 6th in junior men .Freia challis took the win in championship women, all of the team wish her luck in the up-and-coming world championships go get em girl. Bmx national series round 4
Conditions didn’t change for round four in fact it was colder and windier, the track at cycloPark is so exposed and puts up a challenge in the wind trying to get a clean lap, but again the team was on top form. There were wins for Freia Challis, Rebecca Gohl, Kodie Harmer and Dan Pople. A top ride for me on day two was Lucas Webster He looked super strong in his motos and worked his way through the quarters and semi and stepped on the podium for third place well done mate you deserve that. Finlay and Sullivan Collis had a good night sleep and smashed there way into A finals Fin coming home 6th and Sully 8th well done lads, Older brother had his work cut out in championship men in tough conditions, fair play for taking on that pro straight in that wind. Alby eventually ran out of gas and came home 7th in male 7 more eggs and steak buddy. Evie Webster backed up her win on day one with 4th on day 2 Catlin joined her in the main but unfortunately was a DNF. Amos Guppy aka Mr consistent making the main and picking up good points with a 4th, brother Ned was a solid 3rd in a super tough age group but we all feel a win is on the cards soon. Haydon went a few places better with 5th in 19-29 male a solid weekend on his return to Bmx at National level. Ned Penny stepped on the podium once again in junior open with third place, He also took the cruiser to 6th place in 17-29, He must’ve been sore by the end of the day after his crash on Saturday. Teresa Challis joined Rebecca Gohl in the 30+ female cruises A final and came home in a solid sixth place well done Teresa. Lottie Brown and Jacob Anderson both stepped on the podium these two are always at the pointy end well done guys taking valuable points for the team. Luka chalk rode his heart out on Sunday and was so unlucky with fifth place in his quarter he’s working so hard that main is not far away buddy. Elsey Blight look stronger on Sunday and was looking good to make the main a touch of wheels on the last straight went from 4th to 7th in the semi she made amends with a win in her B final. Archie Crocker White on his debut for the team unfortunately slid out in his quarter keep working hard arch your time will come, mate.
This was an absolutely solid weekend by the team and we currently Lead the elite series standings not bad for a bunch of BMXers lead by just a lorry driver well done guys see you in Scotland.
